(Approx 5-10 hrs content) In this comprehensive course we explore respectful pelvic exams, including understanding anatomy and physiology, context for how pelvic care is experienced, typical pelvic exam experiences and how to improve each step of them with trauma-informed care. We look at selecting the right speculum and supportive tools as needed. We look at respecting the physiologic protective mechanisms of the cervix as we insert things through it.
